Qualifying was canceled for the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli's CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series National and Western Championship race at Sonoma Raceway due to heavy rain, so the field is now set according to practice times. Brent Crews in the No. 10 Mobil 1/Nitro Motorsports Toyota Camry will lead the field to green after laying down a quickest time of 1m32.155s in the weekend's practice session.

Barry Boes (No. 27 Accio Data/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro) was the fastest of both the Western Championship and Pro/Am Challenge contenders, as he is taking points in both this weekend. He will line up 10th overall with a time of 1m33.690s. 2023 TA2 Western Championship title winner Brody Goble (No. 69 Brown Bros. Ford Lincoln Ford Mustang) was quicker in practice, but loses his starting spot due to missing the driver’s meeting.

The race will be contested Saturday at 3:40 p.m. ET. It will be streamed live on Trans Am's YouTube channel and broadcast live on SPEED SPORT 1, with coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET. An encore presentation will air on SPEED SPORT 1 at 9:30 p.m. ET. For more information on where you can watch SPEED SPORT 1, click here.
