Chad Finchum will rejoin Garage 66 for the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Finchum will drive the No. 66 Ford Mustang with Hart HVAC & Electric / Winsupply sponsorship. It will be his first start of the season and the 10th Cup Series start of his career.

"I am super excited to get back behind the wheel at Texas Motor Speedway on May 4 in the NASCAR Cup Series," Finchum said. "Texas has always been a very good track for me, dating back to 2019 when I earned a top 15 finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. (A) big shoutout to our good friends and partners at Hart HVAC & Electric and Winsupply of Fort Worth for coming aboard for this race, and thanks to Garage 66 for the opportunity. Let's make some noise and bring home a great result."

The TMS race will be Garage 66’s third start this season. The single-car operation owned by Carl Long has competed at the facility before; however, it will be the first time the team has run at the track in the Next Gen car.

Chandler Smith failed to qualify the car for the Daytona 600. Casey Mears drove the No. 66 at Martinsville Speedway, finishing 35th, and Josh Bilicki contested the most recent Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, finishing 39th.

"I am looking forward to bringing Chad back to Texas, a track where he had one of his biggest standout drives in the Xfinity Series in our equipment," Long said. "We have notes from intermediate tracks last year. This should give us a solid foundation with Chad for our Cup setup. I know Chad is up for this challenge and will give us great feedback as we have 400 miles to adjust it on Sunday."
