Daytona 500 odds: Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch are favorites for NASCAR's season opener

Earlier in the week leading up to the 2025 Daytona 500 — the NASCAR Cup Series season opener — Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski led the garage with the best odds to win Sunday’s race at +1200, according to BetMGM. Less than 24 hours before the green flag, Blaney is still at the top, but everyone else’s odds have definitely changed.
Part of that is likely because of multiple qualifying sessions throughout the week to determine the 2025 Daytona 500 starting lineup. That included single-car qualifying Wednesday to determine the pole winner — this year, it was Chase Briscoe, putting Toyota on the Daytona 500 pole for the first time ever — and then two duels Thursday to determine the starting lineup.
The day before the Daytona 500, Blaney remains at the top with the best odds to win the Daytona 500 at +1200, but Kyle Busch is now right there with him also at +1200, per BetMGM. Busch’s odds were at +1400 on Tuesday.

Logano is now third-best behind Busch at +1300, Keselowski is at +1400 and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin rounds out the top-5 at +1400 as well.
Of course, there are many factors that contribute to winning the Daytona 500. Obviously, drivers need a fast car, but they and their teams also need perfect pit stops and race strategies. Nothing can go wrong, including being in the wrong place at the wrong time and having your day ruined by being part of collateral damage in someone else’s wreck. Drivers need a little luck on top of everything else.
So while no one can predict how the race will turn out, here's a look at the 2025 Daytona 500 odds early one day before Sunday's green flag flies:
