Lincoln Navigator Has The Worst Recall Fix We've Ever Seen

Normally, when a vehicle is recalled, we expect the result to be a repair. Whatever feature was causing safety problems should be replaced with a new part that works the way it was supposed to. Unless it's a feature that can't work within the confines of the law, like the changes made to Tesla's Autopilot under recall a few years back, you shouldn't get your car back less functional than it was before.
