In Japan, the company is upgrading the Land Cruiser's security features, because the big SUVs are stolen all the time there. According to Carscoops, the Land Cruiser has been the most-stolen vehicle in Japan, and last year, more than a quarter of all vehicles stolen were Land Cruisers.
