250 RACE RESULTS // 2024 CHARLOTTE SMX #1
The 250 class is extremely action-packed this weekend for the first round of the SMX series. Haiden Deegan was last year’s champion and is coming off a motocross championship. Deegan is looking to continue that streak through this year’s SMX Playoffs and take home the large payment. Levi Kitchen and Tom Vialle were both on a roll at the end of the motocross season and they’re looking to put a stop to Deegan’s dominance. The rest of the field has a chance to turn some heads this weekend as well so it can be anyones series. Starting today, for all updates and results read down below.

250 RACE RESULTS MOTO 1
Julien Beaumer got off to an impressive start in Moto One.
Levi Kitchen would grab the holeshot but the race was instantly red-flagged after Jalek Swoll crashed on the start and needed medical attention. After the restart it was Julien Beaumer and Ryder DiFrancesco leading them around turn one. Jo Shimoda made quick work and moved himself into second almost immediately. Haiden Deegan sat around ninth on the first lap and had to start making his way forward. Cameron McAdoo was riding well from the LCW sitting in fourth battling with Hampshire. Haiden Deegan began to catch the leading pack as he was already up to fourth before the halfway point. Up front the fastest rider on the track was Julen Beaumer who was creating a gap between himself and the rest of the field. RJ Hampshire was battling back and forth with Deegan but as he felt the pressure would make a mistake and crash hard in one of the rhythm lanes. Deegan would move into second and catch the leader Beaumer without issue. Deegan would quad into the lead and sail home to the finish.

Jo Shimoda was able to finish up front just after recovering from a broken collarbone which he sustained just a few weeks ago.
RJ Hampshire was feeling the pressure from Deegan, which caused him to crash hard. He would remount the bike and continue fighting.
