The Dutch Bas World Dakar team, with South African rider Michael Docherty, has secured victory in the tenth stage of the Dakar Rally. This is an impressive achievement, considering Docherty suffered a crash earlier in the rally and sustained injuries.

At the finish, Docherty had a lead of over five minutes ahead of Stefan Svitko, while Edgar Carnet finished third. Skyler Howes claimed fourth place, followed by Frenchman Melot in fifth.

Among the contenders for the overall victory, Daniel Sanders was the first to finish, securing seventh place and extending his lead over Tosha Schareina, who came in eleventh. The gap between the two riders is now 16.5 minutes.
