ALL 2022-TO-2025 GASGAS OFFROAD BIKE’S BRAKTEC BRAKE SYSTEMS RECALLED

The 2022 to 2025 GasGas motocross, enduro and cross-country models with Braktec brake systems need to be inspected by an authorized GasGas dealer for potential replacement of the “front brake calipers,” pursant to that, GasGas is recalling all 2022-2025 motocross, enduro and cross-country models with Braktec brake systems in order for authorized GasGas dealers to check for a potential issue with the front brake caliper. Irregularities in the casting structure of this component may impair the function of the front brake caliper.

The issue may not be apparent on all motorcycles, however owners of these models must return their machine to an authorized dealer to have the front brake caliper inspected and replaced as required.

Customers who purchased one of the above-named motorcycles are being informed by “personal letter” and are asked to contact an authorized GasGas dealer to arrange an urgent inspection appointment. The inspection and replacement of all affected parts will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must only be performed by authorized GasGas dealers

In addition, customers can check online in the ‘Service’ area of the GasGas website by going to “Service and Safety Check” There you can enter your bike’s 17-digit VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). The inspection and replacement of all affected parts will be carried out at no cost to the customer and must only be performed by authorized GasGas dealers.
