The countdown to the biggest and widely regarded as the “must-see” event on the British and World Vets MX stage—the VMXdN Foxhill—continues, and the big names are all signing up for what promises to be an epic event come August Bank Holiday.

Mike Brown, the former AMA national champion, who at 53 years old is the Peter Pan of motocross, has taken the moniker of Team Captain for the American squad who will line up to do battle when the gate drops on the racing action on August 23rd and 24th at the iconic Wiltshire hillside Grand Prix circuit.

Brownie is no stranger to the event, having been on the USA squad for three years since the event's inception in 2022. However, he is the captain for the fourth annual 2025 event and gets to pick his teammates. Brownie doesn't like to lose; nothing short of a win will make the popular American happy. Needless to say, the promoters are already excited about this year's event, which promises to be a barnstormer.

Brownie will race a 2002 Yamaha YZ 250 built and run by the DocWob team, so he is confident in the bike. The bike is currently being built at DocWob HQ, and we will undoubtedly get to see it in build by tuning into DocWob’s YouTube channel during the run-up to the event.

After winning in 2022, Team USA has had to settle for third place on the podium for the last two years. It won't be a walk in the park in 2025 either, with former world champion Frenchman Chris Pourcel already signed up to compete, and let’s not forget the victorious British team from the 2024 race, who will be determined to keep those number 1, 2, and 3 plates on their bikes, alongside a star-studded Italian squad (both of which are yet to be announced). With many more names lined up to be announced over the next few months, it is certainly an exciting time for motocross fans.

With space at a premium at Foxhill, the promoters encourage pre-booking for both spectator and camping passes. This will ensure a pitch in the camping field, as it has sold out in previous years.
