Jorge Prado won his 47th Grand Prix victory in Turkey.and closed the gap to current 450 points leader Tim Gajser to just 14 points with two rounds to go as theMXGP circus moves to Chain on September 16 before returning the Spain for the final round..
Meanwhile in the 250 class, Belgian Husqvarna rider Lucas Coenen went 1-1. It was his seventh 250 GP win of the 2024 season.Coenen continues to close the points gap to teammate Kay De Wolf. Coenen went 1-1 to gain a few points on Husky teammate Kay de Wolf was second overall, but the point gap between the two is a healthy 44 points in favor of Kay de Wolf over Lucas Coenen, De Wolf has been leading the 250 GP points since the opening round and third place in the points, Simon Laegenfelder, has held third at all 18 races. Kay de Wolf has 873 points, Lucas Coenen has 829 points and Simon Laengenfelder has 774 points (47 points ahead of Liam Everts in fourth).
