Acrisure Protection Group partnering with Casey Mears at Martinsville

Acrisure Protection Group, part of global fintech leader Acrisure, proudly announces its partnership with fan-favorite NASCAR Cup Series driver Casey Mears and Garage 66. Acrisure Protection Group‘s branding will be prominently featured on Mears‘ No. 66 Ford Mustang Dark Horse at the Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway on March 30.

Acrisure Protection Group offers business and insurance solutions to approximately 3,000 automotive dealer clients nationally, and now they are excited to partner with Mears on his pursuit of 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts. Just 11 races separate the Bakersfield, CA, native from the coveted milestone.

"It is a privilege for us to align with Casey, whose conviction and drive to win perfectly complements our own culture of executing and performing at an elite level. We‘re thrilled to partner with him on this pivotal race," said Vernon Leake, CEO of Acrisure Protection Group.

Mears‘ bright smile and reserved personality are betrayed by his fiercely competitive, on-track demeanor. He is one of the most accomplished drivers in auto racing, achieving success across nearly every motorsport discipline. This includes wins at the NASCAR Cup Series‘ Coca-Cola 600 and the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona, first in class at the challenging NORRA 1000 and strong finishes in the Baja 1000, one of the toughest races in the world.

500 NASCAR Cup Series starts would be a fitting addition to Mears‘ distinguished resume. Only 47 drivers in NASCAR history have eclipsed the mark, with the only active drivers being Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Michael McDowell.

"It‘s great to be associated with a company that‘s on the cutting edge of technology and a leader in its industry," Mears said. "NASCAR is a sport where technology and ingenuity take center stage, so I‘m honored to be aligned with Acrisure Protection Group, a company that has a culture of execution and shares my passion for excellence."

The Mears family name fills auto racing record books and halls of fame alike. Casey‘s uncle Rick is one of only four drivers to win four Indianapolis 500s, while his father Roger is one of the best off-road racers in history. He crafted a long, successful career that saw him collect 20 Off-Road World Championships, five Pikes Peak International Hill Climb victories and an impressive four Baja 1000 wins.

Casey Mears will hit the paperclip-shaped half-mile oval at Martinsville Speedway for the weekend‘s opening practice session on Saturday, March 29, at 2:05 p.m. ET. Qualifying will follow at 3:10 p.m. ET.

The Cook Out 400 NASCAR Cup Series race is on Sunday, March 30, and it will be televised live on FS1 beginning at 3 p.m. ET. The Motor Racing Network (MRN) will carry the live radio broadcast, along with SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
