FRM expands NASCAR Truck Series effort
Front Row Motorsports is expanding their fleet in the NASCAR Truck Series for 2025. Chandler Smith will race full-time for FRM.
Last season, Smith raced full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Joe Gibbs Racing. He collected two race wins and 17 top-5's.
The 22-year-old’s last full-time Truck Series effort came in 2022 with Kyle Busch Motorsports.
Front Row Motorsports hasn’t made any sponsor, number or crew announcements to go with the driver signing.
Smith was the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series Rookie of the Year. That was also the same year he won the Snowball Derby.

"I'm excited to join Front Row Motorsports truck program," Smith stated in a team release.
"They are a top contender in the Truck Series and have proven so with championships and wins. I like what they are building here and am honored to have the opportunity to add to it.”
“We are getting a bit of a late start, but I am excited about the caliber of talent we are talking to in being a part of this program for 2025."
Smith is a 5-time winner in the NASCAR Truck Series.

NASCAR lawsuit
The team is attempting to expand more than just their Truck Series operation.
Front Row Motorsports is currently in court as they have sued NASCAR with antitrust claims. They are seeking better charter terms.
They have also purchased a third NASCAR Cup Series charter from Stewart-Haas Racing. However, that sale has yet to be finalized.
This week, a judge ruled that charter purchase would be allowed to go through while the court case is ongoing. NASCAR has since appealed that ruling with a hearing schedule for early January.
