NASCAR TV numbers for Daytona International Speedway

On Sunday, Daytona International Speedway hosted the season-opening points race for the NASCAR Cup Series. However, the race on the 2.5-mile track saw multiple delays due to rain.

The race peaked between 2:06-2:15 with 7,959,000 viewers. That marked the largest opening for the race since 2022.

After multiple rain showers, the majority of the race ran between 6:15 to 9:46 PM ET. It restarted with 5.3M viewers and peaked again at 7.5M around 7:45pm.

On average, The 2025 Daytona 500 brought in 6,761,000 viewers. The Duels on Thursday brought 1.836M for FS1. Qualifying on Wednesday had 0.916M viewers on average.

Sunday’s, Daytona 500 viewership made it the most-watched sporting event of the weekend.
