Prime Video announced the final members of its broadcast team for its NASCAR Cup Series coverage beginning this season, which includes former drivers Carl Edwards and Trevor Bayne.
Edwards will be a studio analyst for the pre- and post-race shows alongside Danielle Trotta and Corey LaJoie. Bayne will work pit road alongside pit reporters Kim Coon and Marty Sider.
Prime Video previously announced that its booth would be Adam Alexander, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and Steve Letarte.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Carl, Trevor, Kim, and Marty to our NASCAR on Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer at Prime Video. “Carl’s Hall-of-Fame career, combined with the extensive experience of Trevor, Kim, and Marty, bring an unparalleled authenticity to our coverage. Their deep knowledge and genuine passion will resonate with fans and elevate the NASCAR viewing experience. We look forward to showcasing our entire announce team when we debut in just a few short months.”
Prime Video will broadcast five Cup Series, beginning with the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The other four races will be at Nashville Superspeedway, Michigan International Speedway, Mexico City, and Pocono Raceway.
Currently, Prime Video is exclusively streaming Cup Series practice and qualifying for the first half of the season with the exception of the All-Star Race.
Edwards, a winner of 28 Cup Series races, was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in February. Bayne is a former Daytona 500 winner and advisor at Legacy Motor Club.
Coon and Snider, meanwhile, are broadcast veterans. Coon is currently a pit reporter for NBC Sports and CW Sports, and has previous stint as a pit reporter for MRN. She also has experience hosting digital and live events for NASCAR.
Snider, also of NBC Sports, has experience as a pit reporter in all three NASCAR national series as well as IndyCar coverage. He has also hosted pre- and post-race studio coverage.
