NASCAR has issued a DQ after the Legacy Motor Club team failed post-race inspection

On Sunday, NASCAR raced at Martinsville Speedway. It marked the first of two trips to the half-mile oval for the 2025 season.

After cars cross the finish line, cars must pass an inspection. Every car in the field must make weight. For select cars, like the race winner, they go through a more detailed inspection.

Erik Jones has been disqualified in post-race inspection.

The No. 43 team failed to make minimum weight after the race. They will now forfeit all points earned from the finish as well as any points earned in stages.

Jones drops from 21st to 29th in the standings as a result of the DQ.
