Denny Hamlin and FedEx indicated via social media Sunday afternoon their partnership will end with the conclusion of the NASCAR Cup Series finale.

Hamlin posted a 47 second video, captioned "Thank you, FedEx," in which he expresses his thoughts over a highlight reel of their time together. The video includes victories and defeats since beginning their tenure in 2005 when Hamlin joined Joe Gibbs Racing.

"Thank you, FedEx, for being there from the start," Hamlin said. "At all the wins and all the losses. Thank you, FedEx, for letting me be me, for always making a difference, for helping make this kid from Virginia's dreams come true. Thank you, FedEx, for everything."

The official FedEx social media account responded to Hamlin's post by saying, "What a ride it's been! Denny and the entire Joe Gibbs team, it's been an incredible 20 years of racing with the best. #TeamFedEx will always be cheering you on."

Joe Gibbs Racing has not responded to a request to confirm the sponsor's departure after FedEx steadily decreased their presence on the No. 11 in recent years.

Of his 54 career wins in the Cup Series, Hamlin won 47 of them with FedEx as the primary sponsor of his car.
