Henderson Motorsports to appeal disqualification: UPDATES

UPDATE 2: The National Motorsports Appeals Panel today heard and considered an appeal of a race disqualification on Feb. 14, 2025 to the No. 75 truck in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series.
The penalty concerns the following sections of the 2025 NASCAR Rule Book: Section 14.17.3.2.2.2.A Post-Qualifying and Post-Race Inspection Heights.
Upon hearing the testimony, the decisions of the National Motorsports Appeals Panel are:
1. That the Appellants violated the Rule(s) set forth in the Penalty Notice.
2. That the Panel upholds the original Penalty assessed by NASCAR.
In reaching the above decision, the panel provided the following explanation: "The panel confirms it is more likely than not a rules violation did occur and the disqualification penalties in Rule 10.5.2.4 necessitate a race disqualification."

UPDATE: Henderson Motorsports and Parker Kligerman will have their appeal for their disqualification from Friday night’s Fresh from Florida 250 heard by NASCAR on Thursday.
Parker Kligerman will have his appeal to DQ heard Thursday.

AND: Parker Kligerman posted a statement on social media on Saturday morning, touching on Friday night’s race, before joining the booth for the Xfinity Series broadcast.
“Biggest win of my life. Thank you all for the wonderful messages. Over 700 texts. I will not be commenting any further until we are able to present what I believe is a very, very valid case.
Until then, I‘m fully focused on my job with CW Sports and NASCAR Xfinity because the drivers and teams deserve the full focus on the massive stage ahead of them.”

Henderson Motorsports announced early Saturday morning that they would appeal NASCAR’s decision to disqualify the team following Friday night’s Fresh from Florida 250. The team had celebrated the win and was awarded the trophy after driver #75-Parker Kligerman crossed the finish line first in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series season opener.
However, NASCAR found that Kligerman’s truck was too low during post race inspection. The race win was awarded to #11-Corey Heim and Kligerman was credited with the final, 36th finishing spot.
