JR Motorsports will have 5 cars in 2025

Dale Earnhardt Jr’s JR Motorsports has a full roster of drivers for the 2025 season. Today, the team announced the crew chief pairings to complete their roster for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

Defending series champion Justin Allgaier will have Jim Pohlman returning to the pit box.

Phillip Bell made the move to crew chief for Sammy Smith late in 2024. He’ll return to the No. 8 in 2025.

Connor Zilisch is set for his debut as a full time driver in 2025. He’s being paired with Mardy Lindley. Cilisch grabbed a win in his first career start last season at Watkins Glen International.

Carson Kvapil is also making his Xfinity Series debut in 2025. He’ll be paired with Andrew Overstreet.

New for 2025, JR Motorsports will field a fifth team on a part-time basis in a partnership with Trackhouse Racing. Drivers Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen will share the seat for nine events with Corey Shea calling the shots.
