Craig Bracken was involved in a big crash at Daytona International Speedway

Today, the ARCA Menards Series opened their 2025 season. The race at Daytona International Speedway started with a field of 40 cars. It’s been full of big crashes.

Amber Balcaen was involved in a big crash on lap 12 of the race. On the following restart, the driver thinks she had a tire going down which led to another accident.

Into turn one, Balcaen got sideways and bounced off the car to her inside. She spun across the track, collecting multiple cars.

One of those was Craig Bracken who slammed into the scene. He was then sent hard into the inside wall. After that contact, Bracken’s spinning car slammed into Becca Monopoli for his third impact in the same crash.

Bracken’s car was then sent back into the inside wall where he made another impact. In one crash, Bracken had four hard impacts.

The safety team quickly surrounded his No. 02 machine.

The driver has since been transported to a local hospital.

“After a crash on Lap 19 at DAYTONA, Craig Bracken has been transported to a local hospital for further evaluation,” the ARCA Racing Series stated.

Shy of the halfway mark, less than 20 cars remained in the race. At the time of publishing, the race is ongoing.
