Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau to sponsor NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Qualifying at Nashville Superspeedway

Officials from Nashville Superspeedway announced today a multi-year partnership agreement with the Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau to become the entitlement sponsor for Saturday qualifying in both the Cup and Xfinity Series during the track‘s annual NASCAR race weekend.

Starting in 2025, Saturday‘s qualifying event will be called the Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau Qualifying. The event will identify both Cup and Xfinity Series pole winners and set the starting lineups for the races.

“We‘re incredibly grateful to the Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau for being such wonderful partners and for their continued support of Nashville Superspeedway," said Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. "Their collaboration helps make our race weekend a truly special event while opening the door to fans and visitors to all that this thriving community has to offer."

The Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau Qualifying for the Cup and Xfinity Series races during Nashville Superspeedway‘s NASCAR triple-header will take place May 31.

"With the help of funding through programs with the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, we are now able to do something we never thought we could do — become the entitlement for this qualifying sponsorship for the NASCAR weekend at Nashville Superspeedway," said Jason Johnson, director of tourism for the Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau. "Once NASCAR racing returned to Nashville Superspeedway for the first time in more than a decade, the excitement could be felt. We immediately knew we wanted to be a part of it. This partnership allows us to expand our reach and awareness, and we see absolute value in a relationship with Nashville Superspeedway. We are continually looking for ways to grow the partnership."
