The first Superpole Race of the 2025 World Superbike season delivered a hectic race at Phillip Island as Nicolo Bulega put in another dominant display.

For the second time this weekend, Nicolo Bulega was victorious at Phillip Island as he won the Superpole Race. The Italian has completed a clean sweep at the Australian circuit so far as he has topped every session this weekend.

Andrea Iannone was back at the front on Sunday morning after a disastrous start in Saturday's race. The Team Pata GoEleven rider claimed his first podium of the year as he finished second.

Danilo Petrucci completed a Ducati lockout of the Superpole Race podium at Phillip Island. The Italian was five seconds behind Bulega but held on to his first podium of the season.

Race One was no one-off for Scott Redding as he finished the Superpole Race in fourth. It was a close call for the British rider on the final lap as he nearly lost out to a fellow British rider on the line.

Completing an all-Ducati top five at Phillip Island was Sam Lowes on the ELF Marc VDS Racing Ducati. The British rider only managed a tenth-place finish on Saturday, but Sunday morning saw him cross the line in fifth.

The top non-Ducati rider was Andrea Locatelli on the Pata Maxus Yamaha in sixth. The Italian was in the fight for the top five at the start of the race, but was 1.4 seconds behind Lowes at the end of the race.

Alex Lowes was the top Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team rider as he finished the Superpole Race in seventh.

World Superbike rookie, Yari Montella, has scored his first points of the 2025 season. The Barni Spark Racing Team rider crossed the line in eighth place, over two seconds behind Lowes.

Completing the points was Axel Bassani on the KB998 Rimini. The Italian finished in ninth but was 10.585 seconds behind Bulega after ten laps.

The reigning World Superbike Champion, Toprak Razgatlioglu, blew his race on the first lap. The Turkish rider ran off the track at Turn Four but made his way back up to 13th.

Alvaro Bautista followed Razgatlioglu into the gravel and then suffered a crash later on. The two-time Champion crossed the line in 19th, over a minute behind his teammate.
