After dropping to eighth-place Tom Booth-Amos made his way through to win his first World Supersport race.

Tom Booth-Amos claimed his second World Supersport podium on Saturday and joked that he wanted one better on Sunday. Well, the British rider has done it in Australia as he claimed victory in Race Two at Phillip Island.

After winning Race One on Saturday, Stefano Manzi had to settle for second place on Sunday. The Italian rider and the Yamaha R9 have been a powerful pairing at Phillip Island.

The MV Agusta has returned to the podium in World Supersport in 2025. Bo Bendsneyder claimed his first podium of the year as he finished in third-place.

Michael Ruben Rinaldi's first weekend as a World Supersport rider was slightly underwhelming. The Italian failed to finish the first race and was fourth in Race Two on Sunday.

The Kawasaki WorldSSP Team made it four different manufacturers inside the top five. Jeremy Alcoba took the Kawasaki ZX-6R to fifth place on Sunday afternoon.

Lucas Mahias put both GMT94 Yamaha bikes inside the top six as he crossed the line in sixth. The French rider was 10.864 seconds behind Booth-Amos at the chequered flag.

Home Hero, Oliver Bayliss, had a very consistent race weekend at Phillip Island. The Australian rider finished seventh in Race One and Race Two at his home circuit.

Xavi Cardelus was the top Ducati World Supersport rider on Sunday as he finished in eighth place.

Kaito Toba crossed the line in ninth-place and made it six different manufacturers inside the top ten. The Japanese rider was 13.648 seconds behind Booth-Amos but has claimed good Championship points.

Completing the top ten was Ondrej Vostatek on the WRP Racing Ducati Panigale V2.
