"The reality is, the package is good but not every race will be like this..."
Despite Ducati dominating the opening round of the 2025 World Superbike Championship Team Pata GoEleven rider, Andrea Iannone does not believe the remainder of the season will be as easy.
Iannone claimed two podium finishes at Phillip Island as he finished second and third in two Ducati podium lockouts.
After Race Two Iannone said: "I am really happy about today, I think we have taken the maximum that we could have."
"We arrived really close to the factory team, which is our target, we are small and strong. We changed our setup a little bit for the second race and we improved a little bit, I think it was a good choice for us.
"I want to say thanks to Ducati because we have had help from Ducati and this is a good thing for us."
Iannone was asked what his goals are for the remainder of the season and if he can fight for the title. The Italian lessened the pressure on himself and stated that he doesn't 'think every weekend will be like this'.
"I don't want to limit it, but I don't think every weekend will be like this for us," he explained.
"There are many strong riders and many strong manufacturers, we need to try every race to arrive close to the best riders and best manufacturers.
"We need to try every race to arrive close to the best riders and best manufacturers, so this is our target."
Finally, the 35-year-old discussed how Ducati benefited from Phillip Island being a good track for the Panigale V4 R.
"I think Phillip Island is a good track for us," Iannone stated when asked about Ducati's dominance.
"I think that the Ducati is a good bike, but also the riders are at a really, really good level. Everyone in the past has been in the fight for top positions, and some as well in the MotoGP paddock.
"This is not a point of view, this is the reality, the package is good but not every race will be like this."
