Portimao WorldSSP, Superpole Results | Adrian Huertas claims his fourth pole position of 2024

Adrian Huertas continues to dominate the 2024 World Supersport Championship as the Spaniard will sart from pole for the fourth time this season.
After only one Practice session earlier today, the World Supersport riders took to the track for their Superpole session. Ducati has been the dominant force in Superpole this season with five pole positions out of six.
Adrian Huertas extended Ducati's pole count from five to six as he claimed his fourth pole position of the season. The Spanish rider has been dominant this year and took pole by 0.2 seconds at Portimao.
It was a Ducati 1-2 as Yari Montella put his Barni Spark Ducati in second place. The Italian may have been 0.2 seconds off of pole, but he was half a second ahead of third place.
Stefano Manzi was the top Yamaha rider in Superpole as he put his Ten Kate Yamaha R6 on the front row in third place. Manzi has only won a race so far this season and will be searching for his second tomorrow.
The top MV Agusta in Superpole was Federica Caricasulo. The Italian rider finished fourth in Practice earlier today and backed it up with a fourth place in Qualifying.
After topping Practice earlier today Jorge Navarro qualified in fifth place. Navarro was unable to match his pace from Practice earlier today.
Can Oncu finished as the top Kawasaki this afternoon as he qualified session in sixth place. The Turkish rider has struggled this season as he is down in 14th in the Championship and is yet to stand on the podium in 2024.
French riders Lucas Mahias and Valentin Debise qualified in seventh and eighth place today. The two Yamaha riders were sixth and seventh earlier today and continued their pace into Superpole.
Marcel Schroetter's pace this weekend appears to be ninth place at best. Earlier on today he finished Practice in ninth and has now Qualified in ninth.
Rounding out the top ten was Niki Tuli as he put his Ducati in tenth place. Having not stood on the podium since Assen the Finnish rider will want to be back on the rostrum once again.
British riders Tom Booth-Amos and John McPhee have qualified outside of the top ten in 14th and 15th places on their Triumph machines.
