The Puccetti Kawasaki squad could double their presence in World Superbikes with a second Kawasaki ZX-10RR in 2026.
After supporting the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) in World Superbikes for years the Puccetti Racing outfit has achieved a dream for the 2025 season.
Manuel Puccetti's squad will become the official Kawasaki World Superbike Team this season after KRT became the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team.
Puccetti Kawasaki has had a strong preseason ahead of the opening round of the 2025 season. Their new rider Garrett Gerloff is heading into his rookie season with the Kawasaki ZX-10RR. However, the American has been in the top ten throughout all of testing.
"Every season is more competitive, but we are convinced that Gerloff will give us a lot of pleasure. I expect a great season, starting from Phillip Island," Puccetti told GPOne.
"We have completed some tests and the times spoke for themselves. The fact that he has not crashed and has not even rattled through the gravel gives me hope that maybe there is a little more in it. The top five is possible, maybe even a few podium places."
Puccetti Kawasaki is already looking ahead to the 2026 World Superbike season as they aim to expand to a two-rider team. There were rumours that the team would have two Superbike's in 2025, but Puccetti is confident that he will expand his rider lineup next year.
"The goal is to compete with two Superbike riders in 2026," revealed Puccetti.
"Kawasaki knows about the plans and that's why we will try to show a really strong season - that will perhaps motivate them to support us."
