After the 2025 Portimao World Superbike Test, Toprak Razgatlioglu spoke about his physical condition during his recovery from a broken finger.

The 2025 World Superbike pre-season had been full of mixed fortunes for Toprak Razgatlioglu. The ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK rider started his offseason by celebrating his 2024 title success. However, he was unable to test the 2025 BMW M1000RR until the 28th of January.

The delay in testing for the reigning Champion was due to adverse weather at private tests and a broken finger. Before the most recent Portimao Test, it was uncertain if Razgatlioglu would ride in Portugal due to his injury. However, after participating in the two-day test the 28-year-old spoke about his physical condition.

"At the end of Day One I had some pain, but when I woke up on Day Two I didn't feel any pain," Razgatlioglu told WorldSBK.com.

"The finger still isn't 100%, but I have some time before Philip Island, so I will be going back to physiotherapy to try to be able to move it more before the Australian Round.

"Generally, I feel like I am riding like I was before except I'm using my middle finger to brake. Once my finger is 100%, I will be riding more relaxed, because for example in right-hand corners, I am not pushing as hard because I know if I crash, I will hit my hand on the ground, and I am worried about re-injuring it.

"This has been important for my season, pushing slowly, not immediately, I'm hoping my finger will improve, my hope is for it to be 100% by Phillip Island, this is my target now."
