Tesla Robotaxi x McDonald's collaboration rumors are spreading

Fast food giant McDonald’s just broke the internet with a 10.10 announcement. Many Tesla fans speculate that McDonald’s teaser is related to the company’s Robotaxi event. 

Tesla is expected to unveil its robotaxi vehicle next week. The date of Tesla’s Robotaxi event coincided with McDonald’s upcoming announcement. Both big reveals will drop on October 10 or 10.10.

The fast food giant shared a picture of a McDonald’s to-go bag in a recent post with the date 10.10. The receipt on the bag shows the date and states: “Special item coming to a chat near you.” The order on the receipt included “1 Not Not a Big Mac,” reminiscent of Elon Musk’s Not-a-Flame-Thrower from The Boring Company. 

A few Tesla owners and shareholders theorized that the company is partnering with McDonald’s for deliveries. Some joked that Tesla’s Optimus robots might work at local McDonald’s stores in the future.

Elon Musk fueled the rumors of a Tesla x McDonald’s collaboration by commenting on the fast food company’s X post with a laughing emoji.
