Russell learns fate after bizarre DRS error

George Russell has not been penalised by the race stewards', following an error with his DRS during the Bahrain Grand Prix. Russell was placed under investigation in the closing laps of the race at the Bahrain International Circuit after his DRS briefly opened in a non-DRS zone.  He had been suffering with an issue with his DRS system, whilst his car's transponder also stopped working. The Mercedes driver initially finished in second after surviving late pressure from McLaren's Lando Norris, marking his third podium from the first four races.  Russell immediately recovered from a one-place grid penalty which demoted him to the front of the second row, with the Briton having settled into second place behind Oscar Piastri.  Piastri was too quick for Russell, who controlled his pace until the very end.
