Ferrari unveils first details of new blue livery for F1 Miami GP – VIDEO

Scuderia Ferrari wanted to reveal the first details about the livery it will adopt on the SF-24 single-seater ahead of the Miami Gran Prix through a short video posted on its social media accounts.

As Formula 1 prepares to kick off the American season, Scuderia Ferrari is gearing up to be painted in blue. After already presenting blue Dino suits and merchandising and La Plata blue, the Maranello team wanted to unveil the first details about the livery it will adopt on the SF24 ahead of the Miami Grand Prix, by posting a short video on social media featuring Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Since the official announcement, fans have started to speculate, pondering what color scheme we might see in Florida. Will Ferrari opt for an entirely blue livery or just some shades? Will red remain predominant?

“The wheels could look beautiful in blue,” Charles Leclerc begins, hinting at a possible color change for the wheel covers, currently red in the base livery.

“Some details on the HALO, or even potentially the entire HALO,” adds Carlos Sainz. “La Plata blue is perfect,” he adds in a second remark.

After several years, Ferrari has decided starting this season to recolor the safety ring, introduced in 2018, from red. Will it turn blue in Miami?

“With blue in general and the blue of the helmets, I think it will look fantastic,” continues the Monegasque. “I really like it a lot, I can’t wait to go to Miami,” adds the Spaniard in conclusion.

Apart from the livery, Scuderia Ferrari is called upon to provide important answers on the Miami track, after a rather lackluster performance in Shanghai last week. In the United States, as in China, the sprint format will return, with the prancing horse possibly anticipating some of the updates planned for the Imola weekend despite the limited time available in the free practice session.
