The FIA has unveiled the official entry list for the 2025 Formula 1 World Championship, providing clarity on team names and driver numbers for the upcoming season.

Among the standout changes, Visa Cash App RB, commonly referred to as "RB," has officially rebranded itself as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls – or simply VCARB.

RB's identity has been a point of confusion throughout the 2024 season. The name change aims to address this ambiguity, as acknowledged by the team's CEO, Peter Bayer.

"We've been struggling to a certain extent with making it clear to people what the team name is and seen so many versions," Bayer admitted, as quoted by The Race.

"In January, it all happened within weeks, and we've been probably rushing a couple of things. What we see ultimately is that people are referring to us as Visa Cash App Racing Bulls. And Racing Bulls anyway is our company name."

Bayer added that simplifying the team's identity was critical to avoid further confusion:

"People [were] struggling with the RB thing alone because some of them mixed it up with Red Bull. Others didn't really know what it stands for.

"So that's why we decided to clarify that, and basically what you will see in the future is Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, and VCARB as an abbreviation."

While the name has been clarified, Racing Bulls remains the only team yet to finalize its 2025 driver line-up. Yuki Tsunoda's teammate has not been confirmed, sparking speculation about potential changes within the Red Bull driver pool.

Both Tsunoda and Liam Lawson have been linked to a promotion to Red Bull Racing, possibly replacing Sergio Perez.

For now, however, the entry list indicates that Perez will continue as Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull Racing.

The entry list also confirms the car numbers of four new full-time drivers debuting next season:

- Gabriel Bortoleto - Sauber: Number 5, previously used by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel.

- Jack Doohan - Alpine: Number 7, last raced by Kimi Raikkonen until 2021.

- Andrea Kimi Antonelli - Mercedes: Number 12, last seen on Felipe Nasr's Sauber in 2016.

- Ollie Bearman - Haas: Number 87, a brand-new addition to the grid.

These numbers hold special significance for the drivers as they step into their maiden F1 campaigns.
