The 2025 Formula 1 championship is just around the corner, and it's time to reveal F1's new opening sequence for the new year. On the eve of free practice in Melbourne at the 5.278-kilometre Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit, Formula 1 has presented the public with the new opening titles for the upcoming season's TV broadcasts.

The 2025 season brings several changes, ahead of the major regulatory overhaul set for 2026. The paddock has a new look, many drivers have changed teams, and several young talents will step onto the F1 stage for the first time. The biggest media sensation is certainly the arrival of superstar Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari.

The British driver is one of the standout figures in F1's new opening sequence for the 2025 season. The seven-time world champion appears for the first time dressed in red in the competition's intro.

The soundtrack for F1's 2025 opening sequence remains Brian Tyler's signature composition. The piece, which has accompanied the Circus since 2018, marks its eighth year since debuting at racetracks worldwide. At the end of the video, the logo "F1 75" appears, a commemorative emblem celebrating Formula 1's seventy-fifth year since the first world championship.

The clips feature various drivers in different poses, following the starting grid order based on the 2024 Constructors' Championship standings, from the last-placed team to the first—McLaren. The only exception to this rule is Max Verstappen. The Dutchman, a four-time consecutive world champion and king of the Circus, appears at the conclusion of the opening sequence.

The entire video, which will be broadcast on television before every session of the 2025 season, lasts 52 seconds and features every driver in the paddock. The intro presents each driver with their name and race number.

Beyond Lewis Hamilton in his Ferrari red suit, one of the standout moments in the video is George Russell's clip. The British driver, born in 1997 and now Mercedes' leader, appears in the now-iconic “T-Pose” with his arms outstretched.
