Ferrari North America is facing a class-action lawsuit after a federal judge in New Jersey allowed key claims to proceed. The lawsuit, filed by seven Ferrari owners and aligns with a previous lawsuit filed in California, alleges that a number of the automaker's models suffer from a brake defect involving fluid leaks that could cause partial or total brake failure. Plaintiffs argue that Ferrari and co-defendant, Bosch, knew about the defect but concealed it from consumers. They also claim that the recall efforts to fix the issue offered only partial remedies, leaving vehicles and owners at risk.
