A couple of months ago, Honda issued a recall for a number of its V6-powered products. The vehicles, including the Honda Pilot and Acura MDX, had an issue in which the automatic start-stop system might not manage to start the engine after stopping. But it seems this may not be the end of the issue. Many more vehicles may be affected, and the initial fix may not have been enough. As such, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has opened an investigation into the problem.
