Meet The Bugatti Tourbillon: V16 Masterpiece Redefines The Hypercar

Behold, the Bugatti Tourbillon has been revealed in all its wondrous glory. Molsheim's latest creation is instantly recognizable as a Bugatti, yet it's also clearly a far more athletic machine than either of its predecessors. The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 was named in honor of Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti development engineer, test driver, and racing driver. Similarly, the Chiron was named after French racing driver Louis Chiron. Both names helped to cement the idea of speed, but the hypercar world no longer obsesses over outright performance, instead valuing experiences and emotion above all else. Of course, a Bugatti must remain astonishingly fast, and the Tourbillon is. But thanks to the leadership of Mate Rimac, Bugatti has avoided full-scale electrification and has not compromised on what it means to carry Ettore's name. Instead of focusing on outright output, the brand has taken a three-pronged approach where beauty, performance, and luxury are obsessed over in equal measure.
