MotoAmerica: Scott Takes Provisional Pole For Daytona 200

Tyler Scott set the fastest Supersport lap to take the provisional pole position for the Daytona 200 on Friday at Daytona International Speedway. Scott took his Suzuki GSX-R750 to a 1:48.962 lap, making him the only rider in the 1:48 bracket on Friday. Defending Daytona 200 Champion Josh Herrin was second on his Ducati Panigale V2, a narrow 0.040 back. Richie Escalante was third, making it a 1-3 for the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki squad, with Richard Cooper in fourth and Brandon Paasch in fifth.
