This Rare Alfa Romeo Is Out Of This World

While Alfa Romeo and custom coachbuilders such as Touring Superleggera conjure images of sun-bathed Italian hillsides, this special Alfa looks like it might be most at home in Japan. It's an Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, one of possibly only 10 ever built, according to RM Sotheby's. This particular one features unique details not found on any other examples, which were commissioned by its one and only owner in Japan. As perfect as it looks among the cherry blossom trees, it's apparently in search of a new home, since RM Sotheby's is selling it for the owner.
