Flatrock Motorclub has released a video featuring a full lap of its magnificent Club Track. America's newest premium racing facility officially opened its highly anticipated 3.5-mile, 23-turn 'Club' circuit to members last month, marking a major milestone in its development. The opening ceremony marked the culmination of over 20 months of construction and planning, bringing to life a world-class circuit that promises an exhilarating driving experience.
Shot during the opening celebrations last October, the video clearly shows the many highlights of this remarkable circuit.
The Club track at Flatrock is an extraordinary 3.50-mile circuit that offers a remarkable elevation change of 127 feet. In simulations conducted with a GT3 car, it has demonstrated an impressive average speed of 101mph – the average lap time is estimated to be 2.04mins – surpassing the averages observed on renowned international circuits, which typically range from 90 to 95 mph.
Other highlights include the hair-raising, 18-degree banked Turn 3 and a series of winding, high-speed turns and marked elevation shifts all set amidst the awe-inspiring Tennessee scenery. This track is destined to be a haven for automotive enthusiasts who seek an unmatched experience of luxury and refinement on an off the track.
Flatrock Motorclub is easily accessible, less than a day's drive from 75 percent of the US population. For Club members with private aircraft, Rockwood Municipal Airport is less than two miles away, while Knoxville's commercial airport is less than an hour's drive, approximately 50 miles away.
Although the track is now officially open, additional developments at Flatrock are already in motion. The Flatrock Karting Track and the Members' Clubhouse are slated to open in 2025, adding even more amenities for club members. Future phases will include a 2.7-mile F.I.M and FIA Grade II certified Grand Prix track, as well as a premium hotel, destination restaurant, campgrounds, brewery, winery, and a natural amphitheater for hosting concerts and events.
