The 2024 LDV Deliver 9 van and bus range has arrived in Australia, with the updated model getting an increase in power and torque, as well as a series of technical changes and improved safety features.

For 2024 the Deliver 9 has been awarded a ‘gold’ rating in safety body ANCAP’s commercial van testing, a big improvement on its previous bronze result, and a new seven-year/200,000km warranty and capped-price servicing.

The LDV van and bus twins retain the same 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine as before, though it is now compliant with Euro 6 emissions regulations, and has been given a bump in both power and torque – up to 128kW from 100kW in MY23 models, and offering 420Nm compared to the previous 375Nm.

The turbo-diesel continues to be paired up with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, as seen in the new T60 Max Plus ute, sending power to the rear wheels.

There are 10 variants of the Deliver 9 range, five each for the bus and van types – with mid and high-roof options available. The bus also comes with the choice of 11, 12 or 14 seats.

Changes to the exterior are minimal, limited to a new gloss black radiator grille up front, while inside the Deliver 9 gets a new electric power steering system, and new adaptive cruise control with stop and go.

There’s also an upgraded 12.3-inch infotainment unit (up from 10.1-inches), which now comes with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital radio and a rear-view camera (except for in the Cab Chassis variant).

The update also gains new safety features, such as; Blind-spot Detection, Lane-change Assist, Door Opening Warning, Emergency Lane Keeping, Electronic Park Brake, and front parking sensors.
