2025 Hyundai i20 N price and specs: Updated model revealed

Hyundai’s smallest hot hatch has been given a minor ‘facelift’ with revised styling and new technology, as Australia is now one of the few markets where it is still sold.

The updated 2025 Hyundai i20 N hot hatch has been unveiled, ahead of the first Australian arrivals due this November.
It is the mid-life facelift for Hyundai’s smallest high-performance car, but with the i20 N no longer sold in Europe – its biggest region in terms of sales – the updates for 2025 are mild.
Australia is the only market globally where the entire Hyundai N range – the i20 N, i30 N hatch, i30 Sedan N and Ioniq 5 N – is sold.
Prices start from $35,500 plus on-road costs, an increase of $510 for the 2025 model – with options of $595 for single-tone premium paint, and $1000 for two-tone finishes.
Design changes include restyled 18-inch machined alloy wheels, a new front grille pattern, and matte black front and rear Hyundai badges (replacing silver).
Hyundai Australia claims the front bumper has been “redesigned”, but it appears identical to the outgoing model – new grille pattern aside.
Inside, LED interior lights have been added, the steering wheel wears Hyundai’s new-style satin-finish badge, and the infotainment screen gains over-the-air software updates.
Support for the Hyundai Bluelink smartphone app has been added, with remote vehicle tracking, remote control of the air conditioning, an SOS emergency call function, and the ability to send navigation routes to the infotainment screen, among other features.
There are no mechanical changes for the 2025 i20 N, so it carries over a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine developing 150kW and 275Nm, the latter rising to 304Nm on overboost.
It is matched with a six-speed manual transmission driving the front wheels.
