- 2025 Skoda Octavia RS pricing and specifications
- More power than before, plus newly-standard equipment and design revisions
- Premium Pack features now standard-fit
- Priced from $58,490 before on-road costs
The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS will arrive in Australia in March with a power bump, more standard equipment, and an updated design.
Prices have risen compared to the outgoing Octavia RS – up from $56,990 drive-away to $58,490 plus on-road costs for the liftback, or likely more than $60,000 drive-away – however the 2025 model is fitted with the previously-optional $6600 Premium Pack as standard.
Skoda claims the updated version is $1270 to $1470 cheaper (before on-road costs) than its predecessor when the Premium Pack was optioned, something it says 80 per cent of customers did.
Headlining the changes is an update to its 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, which now outputs 195kW – up 15kW – while torque remains unchanged at 370Nm.

The power bump aligns Skoda’s liftback and wagon with the facelifted Volkswagen Golf GTI hatch due in Australia in the coming months, along with the new-generation Skoda Superb and Volkswagen Tiguan.
As detailed here, additional changes to the 2.0-litre engine in the Octavia RS include the Budack combustion cycle for improved efficiency, a sports exhaust system, and “new” software to rev the engine higher on start-up.
A 6.4-second 0-100km/h acceleration time is claimed for the Octavia RS liftback and 6.5 seconds for the wagon, a 0.3s improvement for the liftback and 0.2s for the wagon.
It remains matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Priced from $58,490 before on-road costs for the liftback and $59,990 for the wagon, the Octavia RS is now fitted with the features of the previously optional $6600 Premium Pack as standard.
The outgoing Octavia RS is currently listed from $56,990 drive-away nationwide for the liftback and $58,490 for the wagon – without the Premium Pack – with the new drive-away prices likely to be several thousand dollars more than before.
Skoda Australia claims 80 per cent of existing customers chose the Premium Pack, with the new model representing a $1470 saving for the liftback and $1270 for the wagon compared to outgoing versions fitted with the option.
Features from the Premium Pack now standard include adaptive suspension, heated front and rear outboard seats, a 12-speaker Canton audio system, and a head-up display.
In addition, the option pack included tri-zone climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with massage and memory functions, and reverse tilt and memory functions for the passenger side mirror, which are now all included as standard in the RS.
It also adds brighter “second-generation” matrix LED headlights, a 360-degree camera, a heated steering wheel, a heated windscreen, and automatic parking – along with new equipment added to the Octavia Select entry-level variant launched in Australia at the end of 2024.
This includes a larger 13-inch touchscreen running easier-to-use software – up from 10 inches – a faster 15-watt wireless phone charger with ventilation to prevent overheating, new graphics for its digital instrument cluster, and more-powerful 45-watt USB-C charge ports.
According to the brand, the total value of the new inclusions to the Octavia RS is $9415.
Design changes introduced with the facelift include a restyled front bumper and grille, revised headlights, a new 19-inch alloy wheel design, and an updated look for its RS badge.
The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS will arrive in Australia in March, ahead of the 110TSI Sportline launching a few weeks later and joining the 110TSI Select on sale now.
