Alfa Romeo has confirmed its Tonale, Stelvio and Giulia Tributo Italiano Special Series for Australia in limited numbers to celebrate its Italian “heritage, excellence and sportiness”.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale, Stelvio and Giulia will be offered with a limited-edition specification celebrating the brand’s Italian heritage in Australia.
Alfa Romeo has confirmed it will offer a limited number of its Tributo Italiano models in Australia, which honour the Italian brand’s “heritage, excellence and sportiness”.
The Tonale Tributo Italiano is based on the Veloce Plug-In Hybrid variant, while the Stelvio and Giulia Tributo Italiano appear to be built from the turbocharged four-cylinder Veloce grades.
The all-wheel-drive Tonale Tributo Italiano Plug-In Hybrid is priced from $79,000, while the rear-wheel-drive Giulia Tributo Italiano costs $80,450 and the all-wheel-drive Stelvio Tributo Italiano retails for $88,450, all before on-road costs.
Twenty-six examples of the Giulia Tributo Italiano will be offered in Australia, followed by 20 Tonale PHEVs and 14 Stelvios for a total of 64, representing around 10 per cent of Alfa Romeo’s annual sales.
Italian flag-inspired colours are available for the three models: Alfa White, Alfa Red and Montreal Green.
All models receive an emblem symbolising the green, white and red Italian flag on the gloss-black side mirror caps, along with a black-painted roof, body-colour exterior trim for the Tonale and Stelvio, and a standard glass sunroof.
Red Brembo brake calipers are included across the special-edition line-up, with 19-inch alloy wheels for the Giulia, 20 inches for the Tonale, and 21 inches for the Stelvio.
Inside, the Tributo Italiano models receive black leather-accented sports seats with red perforations, embroidered front headrests, and red stitching on the dashboard, seats, and door panels.
Adaptive suspension – usually reserved for the Stelvio and Giulia Quadrifoglio locally – has been added to the Stelvio and Giulia Tributo Italiano, borrowing the technology from range-topping Competizione four-cylinder variants sold overseas but not currently offered in Australia.
The latest models follow the Australia-exclusive Edizione Carbonio special editions announced in November 2024 for the Stelvio and Giulia – while the Tributo Italiano Special Series for the Tonale, Stelvio and Giulia are a global offering available overseas since November 2023.
