F1 Lotus you can own, but there's a catch

A Lotus driven by Kimi Räikkönen during the 2013 F1 season is heading to auction, with a respectable price expectation.
Direct from the Alpine F1 team, a Lotus E21 is now being offered up for auction. The catch? It's in a static, non-operational condition.
The car still holds plenty of appeal, though. It retains its original 2013 livery and participated in five Grands Prix with Kimi Räikkönen, along with seven additional races driven by Romain Grosjean.
What’s more, it secured second-place finishes in Germany, Hungary, and the United States, while also placing third in South Korea, Japan, and India.

The Lotus was originally equipped with a 2.4-litre V8 Renault RS27-2013 engine, capable of approximately 551kW. Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t specify if this engine has been removed, or needs to be replaced.
Currently, the most expensive F1 car ever sold at auction is the 1954 Mercedes W196 R, which fetched £19.6 million dollars (approximately AU$39 million) in 2013.
That record is likely to be broken soon, as an even rarer 1954 Mercedes-Benz W 196 R Streamliner is set to go to auction in February, with an anticipated price exceeding AU$85 million.
The F1 Lotus is set to go under the hammer on February 5th in Paris, with RM Sotheby’s handling the sale.
