How much is the Hyundai Tucson?
With 17 variants to choose from, the Tucson suits a wide range of budgets.
The range kicks off at $39,100 for the base-model 2.0-litre petrol front-wheel drive and spans to the range-topping Premium N Line 1.6-litre turbo petrol hybrid all-wheel drive. These prices exclude on-road costs.
Not all model grades fit the pricing criteria of this category of under $50K, with only eight of the 17 eligible.
As standard, the entry-level Tucson includes features such as a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with new ccNC software, over-the-air updates, dual-zone climate control with 6.6-inch touch display, temperature dials, keyless entry and start, and wireless smartphone charging, wireless and wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
It also comes with things like front and rear parking sensors, Hyundai’s connected services Bluelink phone app, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, blind-spot monitoring with braking support, and rear occupant alert, to name a few.
The Hyundai Tucson is supported by the brand’s five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, while the 12-volt battery is covered for two years or 40,000km, whichever comes first.

What colours is it available in?
The Hyundai Tucson is available in eight colours across base, Elite and Premium models. These include Phantom Black, Deep Sea, Cashmere Bronze, Pine Green, Amazon Grey, Titan Grey, Shimmering Silver, and White Cream.
There are four colour options for N Line models, including Phantom Black, Titan Grey, White Cream, along with Ultimate Red.
White Cream is the only no-cost paint option.
Which variant do we recommend?
The Drive judges recommend the Hyundai Tucson 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid front-wheel drive, with the N-Line Option Pack priced at $49,100 plus on-road costs. We’d choose the no-cost colour option of White Cream.
