Carlos Sainz: "I will always carry the memory of my time at Ferrari in my heart"

Carlos Sainz with a red heart: his time with Ferrari has come to an end after four Formula 1 seasons, and the void left by his years at Maranello is hard to fill. Recently, the Scuderia paid tribute to him by not only giving him the F1-75, with which he won his first career victory, but also allowing him to do laps at Fiorano with his father in that very car. This was followed by a warm farewell from the entire factory, which was then shared publicly on social media through a video.

After this emotional video, Carlos Sainz reflected on his time with the team and wanted to state that, while he is now focused on his future, he is aware of the magical journey he experienced with the Scuderia: “I think the legacy of Ferrari, the history books, and all of that are things I'll think more about when I retire. When I'm sitting on my couch and I'm an older version of myself, I'll think: ‘Look, it was amazing, I was one of them and I'll be a part of it forever,'” the future Williams driver concluded.
