“This season is a rollercoaster, with highs and lows. But how beautiful the highs are,” said Charles Leclerc over the radio after his victory at the Monza Grand Prix. Simple words spoken in the heat of the moment, but they perfectly capture what the Monegasque has experienced in his SF-24 over the past months: after a fiery start, the long-awaited win came at the Monaco Grand Prix, followed by weeks of total darkness, when Ferrari lost its way due to an update that didn't work. Precious points were left to the rivals, who seemed increasingly threatening; but after the summer break, things turned around again, and the car became competitive, allowing Charles Leclerc to triumph in Italy in front of a cheering crowd.

“Monaco and Monza were two victories I've always dreamed of, but at the same time, we also had a tough period where we experimented with the setup, studied different behaviors, and the car was hard to drive. We couldn't optimize the weekends, and it was difficult to get out of that rough patch,” Charles Leclerc told *The Race*. “So, looking at the season, the highs were really high, and the lows really low.”

With the Singapore Grand Prix, the series of circuits that Ferrari had identified as favorable came to an end, and the long autumn break will be the final sprint before closing the year. No one knows what the competition will look like in Austin, but Charles Leclerc is still ready to fight in a season he considers positive, even if the results don't show it: “There are frustrating years because I do a great job, but from the outside, it seems normal with those fifth or sixth places that are the best the car can offer. I feel better year by year, race by race, but I will keep working on what I don't like when I look at the data, both in terms of driving and my approach.” – the Ferrari man concluded.
