Weeks after the Ferrari F80's unveiling, the Maranello-based company released a video showcasing the two Scuderia drivers driving the car. This unique model combines the best technologies from Formula 1 and WEC into an ultra-high-performance road car. Here are the impressions of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc behind the wheel of the Ferrari F80 at Fiorano.

Officially unveiled on October 17 in Maranello, the Ferrari F80 is the latest addition to the lineage of Ferrari Supercars. Following in the footsteps of the F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari, this model encapsulates Maranello's cutting-edge technological expertise.

Equipped with a 120-degree V6 engine producing 900 horsepower, paired with three electric motors for a total output of 1,200 horsepower, the F80 is the most powerful Ferrari ever. The Power Unit incorporates race-derived technologies, such as MGU-H, energy-recovery dampers, and active aerodynamics, including DRS.

Before its official unveiling, the two Scuderia drivers had the opportunity to test the F80 on the Fiorano circuit. In the video, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz take the wheel alongside Raffaele De Simone, Ferrari’s chief GT vehicle tester.

Both drivers shared glowing feedback about their experience. Charles Leclerc kicked things off by referring to the F80 as "Here's the beast" before taking the wheel of the Ferrari Supercar. Carlos Sainz's reaction was equally entertaining when he learned about the F80's total power output, sparking his enthusiasm to drive: "Ok, now let's drive."

"It feels like a race car. A race car that's so predictable," commented Charles Leclerc. "I love how little steering input is needed to make it turn. It's fast. Really fast. But what I appreciate most is how predictable it is. That's essential for a car like this. To truly enjoy so much power, it has to be predictable."

"The power is incredible," said an enthusiastic Carlos Sainz. "You can use long gears, short gears, whatever you want. It's amazing, with so much power. It feels close to an F1 car—it's spectacular."
