Accustomed to high-pressure moments at full speed on the circuits of the Formula 1 World Championship, Scuderia Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is now cooling off. The F1 driver is embarking on a new entrepreneurial venture with the creation of LEC, an ice cream brand that features the beginning of his name.

Charles Leclerc enters ice cream business in France with his brand LEC

A few weeks after its launch in Italy, the Monegasque driver is now entering the French market at the start of this summer. LEC products are available in Monoprix stores, offered in five flavors. “I am very excited to launch this new range of ice creams in collaboration with Federico & Guido. Our ambition is to offer high-quality products that reflect our passion for excellence,” explains the recent Monaco Grand Prix winner.

Ice creams that are intended to be lower in calories than average

The uniqueness of LEC ice creams lies in their caloric commitment: each 460 ml pot does not exceed 399 calories. This initiative aligns with Charles Leclerc’s personal vision. As an ice cream enthusiast and a professional athlete, he is keen on maintaining a balanced diet. To bring this project to life, the Monegasque driver has teamed up with Federico Grom and Guido Martinetti, founders of the Grom brand, as well as his manager Nicolas Todt.
