The second day is also in the books. Eight hours before the end of F1 testing in Bahrain, Charles Leclerc commented on Day 2 and gave a first evaluation of the work done aboard the new Ferrari SF-25.

The Monegasque, just like on the first day, took over Lewis Hamilton's seat in the afternoon, benefiting from a more rubbered-in track. Unlike his teammate, however, Charles Leclerc had the opportunity to chase performance with several qualifying simulations before focusing on a full race simulation.

Car number 16 finished the day in third place, behind Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz. However, these positions mean little at this stage, as the teams’ work programs and car configurations remain unknown.

Of course, completing the day without major issues is always a great starting point for teams that only have three days to prepare for an entire season.

Charles Leclerc’s assessment of Day 2
At the end of the second day of F1 testing in Bahrain, Charles Leclerc gave his first evaluation of Ferrari’s work. “Today was more complicated than yesterday,” the Monegasque told Ferrari’s official channels. “Temperatures were quite low, and the rain made everything more difficult.” – the Ferrari driver pointed out.

“We still managed to follow our work program. However, the weather doesn't allow us to draw any significant conclusions from the data we collected. Now, we prepare as best as possible for the final day,” Charles Leclerc added.
