The verbal sparring between the two team principals continues
During the Las Vegas weekend, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner gave an extensive interview to the *Daily Mail*, now that his position within the Milton Keynes team appears to be definitively secure following the turbulence at the start of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Christian Horner expressed his displeasure with Toto Wolff's attacks during a delicate phase of his career as Red Bull's team leader. Unsurprisingly, Christian Horner seized the opportunity for verbal payback, taking a jab at Toto Wolff by pressing a potentially sensitive issue: Lewis Hamilton's departure from Mercedes just months after renewing his contract.

"Toto Wolff seemed to be the last to find out that Hamilton was heading to Ferrari," Christian Horner said. "Yet less than a month earlier, Toto kept insisting that Lewis Hamilton would never set course for Maranello."

Christian Horner further suggested that Toto Wolff's subsequent aggression toward him might stem from the blow of losing Lewis Hamilton, who chose Ferrari over Mercedes. "People use every tool at their disposal, and it was to be expected. Since 2021, Mercedes has had a terrible run. They've been uncompetitive by their standards, and Lewis decided to leave the team," Christian Horner remarked.
