Ferrari fans have yet to see Lewis Hamilton at Maranello or behind the wheel of the Red #44, but another preview for 2025 has already arrived with the driver who, starting in 2025, will vacate his seat for the seven-time Formula 1 world champion: Carlos Sainz. In addition to having participated in post-season testing in Abu Dhabi with Williams, the Spaniard returned to Fiorano just before Christmas, where he said his goodbyes to the team members while waiting for his move to Grove, thus ending a four-year experience with the Scuderia.
Carlos Sainz’s future is still unwritten, but the mark left by the Spanish driver in the hearts of Ferrari fans will remain indelible. This is evidenced by the video posted on the team’s official social media channels, where the 30-year-old is seen reading a letter signed on behalf of several Italian fan clubs and Ferrari supporters from around the world. “Not a goodbye, but a see you later.”
